Welcome to the 2024 Brighter Futures Abseil! We are thrilled to bring back this ever popular fundraiser which will challenge both thrill seekers and those not so keen on heights! On 21st September 2024, 50 people have a special opportunity to reach the dizzy heights of the Great Western Hospital roof, then abseil 90ft down to earth, all to raise funds to improve patient care for those on the other side of the wall. Our new larger Emergency Department and the new dedicated Children’s Emergency Unit (due to open one week after the abseil!), are still taking shape and are in need of funds to provide additional equipment, furniture and wellbeing projects to help give our patients in and around Swindon the best possible care.
