We’re looking for Santa's little helpers this year to ensure that every patient waking up in Great Western Hospital on Christmas Day receives a gift.

It not fun being in hospital over the festive period, most of us look forward to an early night, waking bright and early to open our presents surrounded by our loved ones and later looking forward to our Christmas dinner.  But for many Christmas can be a lonely time made worse when you are sick and have to spend it in hospital.  With visitor restrictions in place due to Covid-19, we want to make sure Christmas cheer is brought to all of our patients this year.

By making a donation to the Brighter Futures National Elf Service Appeal you will enable our ward staff to purchase small gifts for their patients so that waking up in hospital on Christmas morning will feel as magical as it can be.

Anything raised over and above the amount needed to purchase the gifts will go towards improving the hospital environment, fund groundbreaking research, support the development and training of hospital staff and provide state-of-the-art equipment.
