My Story

When my beautiful niece Megan Garrett was 6 years old she was diagnosed with Leukaemia.  It was devastating news for all the family.  She was strong and with the support of Swindon hospital and John Radcliffe the treatment was successful! You can imagine how much stress her parents Lynn and Mark had trying to stay positive for her, CALM - Children’s Cancer And Leukaemia Movement were amazing in giving them support.  CALM receives no funding from the NHS and helps families with children receiving treatment at GWH from Swindon and the surrounding areas. I am abseiling approx 100ft down the hospital building although not keen on heights in order to raise money for CALM and the hospital please donate what you can for such a great cause!! My photos show my niece now beautiful inside and out thanks to her treatment programme ❤️
